While pursuing a Journalism & Media Studies degree at Rutgers University, Tyler started 9th Ave Photography. The name - 9th Ave, pays homage to his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. His approach to journalism represents a union between urban-themed aesthetics and in-depth storytelling. As a photojournalist and writer, Tyler's goal is to capture the pulse of culture and people through visual and written mediums.
